6 Year Structural & Workmanship Warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be extended under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Each home is offered a 6 year warranty, dated from practical completion. This warranty covers structural items & faults of original workmanship. There are specific industry standard tolerances which may apply to your item of concern & determine if the item is covered under warranty.

Some items may be considered homeowner maintenance to upkeep, and lack of maintenance to some areas may lead to damage to your home.

Our warranty is provided in addition to any warranty or guarantees imposed by law and in particular the guarantees implied by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

If you believe you have concerns covered under this warranty or a statutory guarantee, please contact us. Your Client Liaison Officer will discuss this with you.

Claims made under this warranty must be made within one (1) month of the defect becoming apparent (either by telephone or by email to info@bgcresidential.com) We will confirm the address and practical completion date from our records and arrange an inspection of the defect if there is a reasonable prospect that it is a valid warranty claim . If we are unable to verify the validity of the warranty claim or further information is required then you must provide, upon request, copies of contract or warranty documentation, supporting information and details of the defect to us by email info@bgcresidential.com or by facsimile (08) 6461 5661. You are to bear your own costs of submitting your claim.

This warranty is given by the builder stated in your building contract.

Please note that a call out fee of $160.00 (incl. GST) may apply if the Supervisor conducts an inspection and the relevant issue is not covered by this warranty or a statutory guarantee. Regional areas outside of the Perth Metropolitan area will be charged a higher call out fee. Contact our office if you require further information.
