The new Bonneville display from Commodore Homes has been designed for a narrow block but the quality of the fit-out has been tailored for couples wishing to downsize, including empty-nesters.
Commodore General Manager Anthony Staltari says: “This three-bedroom, two-bathroom display is Commodore’s first narrow-lot display and is designed to fit on a rear-loaded 12.5m block.
“With the garage situated at the rear of the home, it doesn’t detract from the appealing facade.” The rendered pillars that support the portico and front veranda give this home a strong street presence.
The double garage and living areas are at the back and the bedroom wings at the front. There are two doors in the rear of the double garage, one opening into the back garden utility area and the other into the laundry, creating a private entry and a drop zone for shopping before entering the kitchen.
The laundry is positioned behind the kitchen, which is high spec for a cottage and is fitted with 900mm Technika appliances, including an underbench oven, gas hob and a smart glass canopy range hood.
The main living areas are big given the narrow lot, with the family area and dining running on into the big alfresco area through sliding-glass doors. The main suite is to the left of the main entry hall and has a big walk-in robe behind the bedhead.
The open-plan ensuite has a double shower, twin china vanity basins and a separate toilet. The internal hall runs from the entry to the living room. On one side is the home office and a home theatre, while on the other side is an entry to the family bedroom wing which has two bedrooms with robes and a bathroom and separate toilet.
As Mr Staltari says: “The Bonneville is proof that good things do come in small packages.”
