Named after the idyllic seaside town north of Perth, the Ledge Point display home reflects its namesake with a laid-back design.
WA Housing Centre Sales Manager said despite the home’s relaxed feel, the Ledge Point was a spacious and functional home with something for every member of the family.
“There is a thoughtfully designed shopper’s entry off the double garage with easy access to the centrally located gourmet kitchen,” he said. “The open-plan kitchen, living and dining area seamlessly integrate with the outdoor alfresco area, ensuring entertaining is a breeze."
The large glass sliding doors separate the indoor and outdoor areas but allow natural light to flood the living areas.
“There is a separate home theatre at the front of the home for those relaxing nights in and an activity room at the rear of the home for the kids.”
The Ledge Point has a contemporary elevation with the double garage at the front and a porch providing shelter to the entry.
The theatre room at the front of the home could easily double as a formal lounge as it is separate from the main family living areas.
The main suite has room for a parents’ retreat in a window alcove and has twin walk-in robes. The ensuite has a big shower and a separate toilet.
In the living area there is space for a big dining table and a recess in the back wall provides room for a big television and cabinetry. A pair of sliding glass doors open to create one big entertaining space incorporating the alfresco area.
The kitchen has an island bench/breakfast bar and a long bench against the back wall with hotplates and an under-bench oven.
A handy arrangement has the shopper’s entry from the garage opening into a dedicated lobby next to the kitchen. The garage has room for storage along the back wall.
Next to the shopper’s entry is the laundry, which has a wash basin, linen cupboard and sliding glass door to the outside.
At the back of the home are the three minor bedrooms, each with a built-in robe, and a shared activity area.
The activity area could be used as a computer station or television room for older children, or a playroom for young ones. There is also a bathroom with bath and a separate toilet in this area.
The Ledge Point has a living area of 180sqm and a total area of 241sqm.
